ARK Therapeutic Review

Bentley and I had the opportunity to work with ARK Therapeutic!

 They were kind enough to send us not one, not two, but THREE teethers to test out and you can say that Bentley enjoyed them a LOT! (See pictures below....)
               


This is the ARK's Baby Guitar in the color orange. This particular teether comes in a few different color options. The choices are orange, hot pink, royal blue, teal, lime green, baby blue, or baby pink. The baby guitar is great for babies and toddlers for chewing and soothing sore gums from teething. The shape is easy for little hands that also has a stem that can reach the molars located in the back of the mouth. I liked how the stem also had little ridges for added sensory input as well!

The baby guitar retails for $9.99 and...
  • The measurements are 4" long, 2.5" wide, and .4" thick.  The stem is just over 1" long.
  • They recommend washing with with mild soap and water before use. (Top-rack dishwasher safe)
  • The recommended age is approximately 5-6 months - 3 years.  (Children over 3 years can graduate to the guitar, grabber, and y-chew).
  • Medical grade, FDA compliant, contains no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex

This is ARK's Reindeer Chew (which is wonderful for the holiday's coming up!) This teether comes in a few different options as well. We were sent the red teether that is standard firmness. Other options include standard lime green, standard forest green, medium firmness teal, and royal blue very firm for older children who require heavier oral sensory needs.

The last teether we were sent was the ARK Baby Grabber in light blue with soft firmness. This also comes in a number of different options. They include yellow soft, pink soft, and orange which is more firm.
The Baby Grabber is designed to calm and soothe infants who are in the early stages of oral development.  When babies hit   5-6 months, they start mouthing and chewing in order to strengthen their mouth muscles and exercise their lips, tongue, and jaw. This oral exploration prepares them to eat solid foods and to make speech sounds later on.  The baby grabber is works great for babies to develop all of these skills.  It can also assist in self-organization, and prepare the baby in transitioning from puréed to textured foods, and in soothing sore gums from teething breaking through the gums.  The whole item can be chewed on, but the extension is able to reach the back molar area.

  • Recommended for children up to the age of 2 1/2.

I had the privilege of working with Bumbershoots by Nana. I want to start out by telling you all how SWEET they were! I got to work with Judy who also goes by Nana. She was very personable and kind. (These are by far my favorite type of people/companies to work with because they tell you stories about their own life and family!) Covered Goods Review

I had the privilege of working with the company called Covered Goods. They created a multi-use nursing cover for breastfeeding mamas. Sooooo let me just kind of give you some examples. This cover can be used as a regular cover while breastfeeding, a car seat cover, a scarf, and a shopping cart barrier.  I have been breastfeeding my son from the day he was born, so it's going on almost a year (WOOT WOOT!) and I have tried a couple of products that were similar to this. The thing I like about this product is that they have lots of different patterns to choose from. The one that I received was called Painted Floral.  As you can see, it's a very pretty pattern! It is made out of 95% rayon and 5% spandex so it is super stretchy.  I like the product but their is one downside. The only thing that I wasn't very fond of was the fact that if my son got his hand out the top of the cover while I was nursing him my front was partially exposed. This is because he is older, b

The Mommy Hook Review

I had the opportunity of working with the creators of The Mommy Hook! I know it sounds a little bit different, but I think it's actually a pretty cool little gadget. I was sent two of the black hooks and got to test them out for myself. Being a single mom, shopping with a baby can be a huge task.  The Mommy Hook comes in a variety of different colors. All of the benefits are still the same though! You get hands-free control on your shopping trips and errands by hanging all bags on the Mommy Hook (which is nice because you don't break your arm trying to carry 20+ pounds). Can carry shopping bags, baby accessories, grocery bags, etc. Great for transporting bags from store to car, car to house, etc. Fits virtually any stroller or shopping cart handle to make outings with your baby a breeze.
