Welcome to Guilt Free Parenting: Reviews By a New Mom! My name is Katie and I have an 11 month old son named Bentley. I'm a 21 year old Michigan girl that lives for deals. Being a new mom in this generation is far from easy, there are so many "new and improved" baby products that you HAVE to have. The past 11 months I have been able to try out a lot of these products for myself. With all of the experience under my belt, I know what all the hype is about, but I am still eager to get my hands on some of the new things to try them out not only on myself, but on my son as well. All of my reviews will be 100% honest and I am never going to say I love a product if I really don't. I love getting honest feedback from other moms and I hope to do the same. If my reviews were to help at least one other mom out there then I would be happy!

I had the privilege of working with Bumbershoots by Nana. I want to start out by telling you all how SWEET they were! I got to work with Judy who also goes by Nana. She was very personable and kind. (These are by far my favorite type of people/companies to work with because they tell you stories about their own life and family!) So, you can already guess how excited I was to receive Bentley's bumber. The one that I chose was the gray and aqua airplane bumber in the size extra large. I think it's absolutely adorable and very well made. Here is a picture of the one that Bentley and I received. Each bumber.... Fits snugly over the chest to protect the child's airway, but allows arms and legs to move freely. Covered Goods Review

I had the privilege of working with the company called Covered Goods. They created a multi-use nursing cover for breastfeeding mamas. Sooooo let me just kind of give you some examples. This cover can be used as a regular cover while breastfeeding, a car seat cover, a scarf, and a shopping cart barrier.  I have been breastfeeding my son from the day he was born, so it's going on almost a year (WOOT WOOT!) and I have tried a couple of products that were similar to this. The thing I like about this product is that they have lots of different patterns to choose from. The one that I received was called Painted Floral.  As you can see, it's a very pretty pattern! It is made out of 95% rayon and 5% spandex so it is super stretchy.  I like the product but their is one downside. The only thing that I wasn't very fond of was the fact that if my son got his hand out the top of the cover while I was nursing him my front was partially exposed. This is because he is older, b

I had the opportunity of working with the creators of The Mommy Hook! I know it sounds a little bit different, but I think it's actually a pretty cool little gadget. I was sent two of the black hooks and got to test them out for myself. Being a single mom, shopping with a baby can be a huge task.  The Mommy Hook comes in a variety of different colors. All of the benefits are still the same though! You get hands-free control on your shopping trips and errands by hanging all bags on the Mommy Hook (which is nice because you don't break your arm trying to carry 20+ pounds). Can carry shopping bags, baby accessories, grocery bags, etc. Great for transporting bags from store to car, car to house, etc. Fits virtually any stroller or shopping cart handle to make outings with your baby a breeze.
